What is Navdog?  NavDog is a geographic based travel search engine designed with an intelligent component that reveals content to the user in real-time as they manipulate a full screen map. What makes our system unique is that we place content on our map and allow visitors and members to browse from thousands of destinations based on their personal preferences. Our system reacts to map manipulation and constantly scans for actions or conditions that will trigger changes in content.

What makes NavDog different?   NavDog is not an internet search engine tied to a map. We don't pull information from traditional media sources or have the same old content fed to us by other websites. All of the places and or events you find on NavDog were placed there by people. Our system is designed to deliver real-world content in its proper context in order to reveal the complete picture of any given destination or search area. Our goal is to arm the travel consumer with as much information about their destination as possible in order to make their travel experience predictable and hassle free.

Do I have to give you my home address?
No you don't have to, though it helps when creating driving directions. You can pin your primary location at the nearest cross streets if you prefer.

What if my business location has no address?
With our system you can pinpoint your location anywhere in the world using satellite imagery and put yourself on the map. Even if your location is a vacant lot or the side of an interstate NAVDOG can create directions to it.

What if I am listing events on behalf of the company I work for?
You can use the address of you corporate headquarters for your primary location since your primary location has no effect on where you may list events. During the event listing process you can choose any location in any state for your event and list as many different events as you want.

Will you sell my information or use it for any other purpose?
Absolutely not! We have designed the system to provide a service to our customers a small personal information footprint.

Do I have to pay?
Guests and members do not pay for the service; you can find and attend events anywhere at anytime and never give us your personal information or pay us anything. There will be a fee for listing events on the map but it will be nominal and will start as low as $0.99 a day for a classified Ad or garage sale. During our startup period all listing will be free. Charity organizations are always free but must be approved in order to get a special charity account. To get your charity approved you must be found on the IRS charity list and be of a non political nature. Political or cause events will not be free.

Why do I have to pay to list my event or sale?
In order to properly maintain a national website we need to cover many expenses including: national marketing, development, legal fees, and fees to service providers. We have also determined that keeping our site Ad free is very important to our customers and that requiring an event lister to pay for the exposure ensures (in part) that the event is real.

What kind of things can I add to the map?
Just about anything. Garage sales, Yard Sales, Estate Sales, Community/HOA garage sales, Open Houses, Carnivals or Festivals, Parades and Fairs, Guest Appearances, Seminars or Conferences, Book Signings, Car Shows, Concerts or Gigs, Flea-Markets, Farmers Markets and Roadside Vendors, Liquidation Sales, Auctions, Grand Opening Sales, Fund Raiser Carwash, Bake Sales, Job Fairs, Educational Fairs, Benefits and Galas, Campaign Stops, Book Drives, Donation Pickup Locations, Pumpkin Patches, Haunted Houses, Christmas Tree Lots, New Years Eve Bash, Easter Egg Hunts, 4th of July Fireworks Displays or stands, protests, gatherings, locations, places, destinations, etc...

Are there things that you won't add?
Yes there are, we will not list any event or place that violates state or federal laws. This also includes but is not limited to drug deals, prostitution, sale of weapons of firearms, the sale or promotion of pornography, fight clubs, gatherings or events with no permit, etc...
